Credit card shows invalid at truck stop pumps
What's the secret to getting the pump to take my credit card. Keeps coming up invalid and I need to pay at the cashier. Thanks

On a somewhat related subject.
We only use debit card and cash when traveling. Last fall we pulled into a CG in SC on a Saturday. My debit card was rejected, twice. I paid cash for the 2 nights and called my bank Monday. Turns out they have 5 states where we can not use debit card. You have to call in advance to get the card unlocked for 3 months. I was aware of this for overseas travel but not for US. Live and learn.
