Damon Challenger rear toilet question

We have a 2010 Damon Challenger 368 with 1 and half bathrooms with the full bathroom in the back of the coach. In the rear bathroom there is a porcelain toilet that does not flush properly. It takes literally 6-7 flushes to get the water completely changed. I did notice a connection behind the toilet that appears not plugged in to something. I checked thoroughly to see what it could possibly connect to but couldn't find a thing.
Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks

Bob
  • I think I would call the companies "customer care" number. I know the Monaco tech support staff was helpful even during all the companies issues. I found this on the Thor site:

Owners: You may contact Thor Motor Coach’s Customer Service department by using our Owners Only toll free phone line at (877) 855-2867.
  • Truth be told I don't think it's a macerator toilet. I truly believe it's an electrical type issue. Like I stated above, there are two wires/connectors that aren't connected to anything, I just can't figure out where and how they get connected. The water fills the toilet but only empties a vely little with every flush. As far as manuals, I can't seem to find anything in them either.

    Thanks so far

Is this a vacuum or macerator toilet? My guess is you have a pump issue with the macerator pump or a bad electrical connection.

But a clog before the macerator...Yup, that would do it too.
  • What does the manual say about it? I too have a 1.5 bath model. The rear toilet on mine has a dedicated accumulator tank that provides extra water pressure to do the flushing. If yours is similar, then perhaps the accumulator tank needs to be presurized, or it could be failed. I just had to replace mine recently - I suppose the internal bladder had failed.
