Sounds like you are close to deal you can live with on the the new unit. Yes the dealer will make money on both ends of the transaction, it's the nature of the beast. Definitely go with the V-10, I would be surprised if you can even get the 5.4L in a 25' C as that motor has been replaced by the 5.0 or the 6.7. I loved the 5.4L in my 2006 F-150 for towing a 5K TT but for that class C the V-10 is a no brainer. You will love the 5 speed torque Shift tranny with full tow haul mode. Good luck! :C
