My sewer line where the cap is and the hole out of the bottom of the compartment was not lined up. So I ended up having to by a 45 degree fitting that hooks to the pipe and has the hose attached to the other end. This actually worked out better because the 45 degree bend in the fitting allows for leverage to help get it off.
