Disappointed in RVCheck.com

I was on Nadaguides checking their values on a 06 Tioga 31w we will be purchasing from the original owner. Just for grins, I decided to pay the $24.95 to check it out on RVCheck.com which is a sidebar on the Nada site. A couple of things that disappointed me were, it did not tell how many previous owners it had, and it said it had no liens, even though we will be paying off the owners loan.

It basically just said somebody bought a new 2006 Ford E450 base cutaway cube van, with not much else as far as information. No smog checks, registrations, where it was delivered, etc. Not a huge deal, but just a headsup for anyone who planned on using this to check out a potential purchase. Oh well, it's not the first time I flushed $25 away.

YES it is! Original owner, always garaged, 12k miles on it and got it for $4k less than low NADA. :B
I have searched for quite a while and most were sun baked even though they had low miles. This one looks brand new and will go under our enclosed cover when I pick it up in 3 days. It was worth the 530 mile round trip drive to find it.
  • Sounds like "RVCheck.Com" just wanted your check. I'd at least report it to NADA, where you saw the ad. They may decide that they don't want to be associated with RVCheck. Maybe even refund your money, but I wouldn't spend it until you get it. After all, NADA stands for National Automobile Dealers Association. We need NRVBA. National RV Buyers Association.
