Distribution box

I can't seam to get the power distribution box open in the motor compartment, i pulled the latch forward,just can't open the cover. whats the secret? I want to check the fuses.

I don't know if mine is the same as yours, but they are both Fords. On mine in the lower right corner there is a tab, you pull it out of the way and the distribution box cover swings out towards you. I also have that latch that you can pull, but it does nothing. I hope that this helps you.
