I believe the answer is yes. Our full-body paint scheme consists of 2 lighter colors and one darker color (brown). The dark brown on the side which normally faces the sun while parked at home has the paint checking. As of yet, I haven't seen, or at least noticed, it on the lighter colors. But most likely, I'm assuming it'll just be a matter of time. I would also think the problem would be worse in sunnier and warmer climates. At least here in New England we have 3 months of darkness in the winter....or so it seems!!! LOL :)
