does Fleetwood use real wood?

I am looking at a 2011 Fleetwood Expedition and am wondering, do they use real wood throughoout? I mean like more than just the cabinet doors: (facias, cabinet boxes, and other trim)?

Well admittedly an older model, my American Eagle is solid walnut cabinetry throughout. Not only is it walnut but it is highly figured almost gunstock quality high-end walnut. My BIL who has done custom cabinets for years was amazed when he saw the qualtiy of wood in the coach particularly the solid walnut pocket door with fiddleback grain in it.
I am slowly beginning to look at newer coaches to upgrade to and have been really disappointed in the quality of the wood in a lot of the higher end coaches, I might keep the old bird just because of the wood.

You mean just the faces and doors, or are all the cabinet boxes solid walnut too? That would be very unusual if they were.

    nice!

Every drawer has walnut sides with metal runners, there is one end panel in the kitchen and 1 small and one large panel in bathroom that are matching luan. The percentage of walnut is far greater than any other material and there is no vinyl wrapped anything or fiberboard!

  • Our 05 Revolution is all wood with the exception of the end panel of the counter and bottom of the cabinets. The 13 Relolution we looked at had some wood and some obvious vinyl wrap. The Eagle and so forth are all wood. Cherry of course but still wood.

  • Pressboard is the usual material. No good quality IMHO.

Nope! All the trim is that vinyl covered******that peels off. You have to move up to the American line for stained wood.
