Dometic Elite RM7732 Door latch

I have a 97 Rexhall Airbus and it has the Dometic Elite RM7732 Fridge.
Doors are constantly opening when I have anything loaded in the door and take a right turn. My wife noticed that there is a cutout in the top part of the frame and we are thinking there was a latch. I searched online, and found differing items labeled for this. Hobson RV has a latch, but I can't see how it would work with the cutout. I don't want to spend $130 plus shipping to find it isn't right. Does anyone have this fridge in their RV that can send me a pic of the latch installed? There was nothing in the owners manual as far as a picture of the area. Thanks for any help. jeff

This is available to 3D print at

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5359438

I also have made 3D printable handles for this door.  A google search should find them.

wow, that's great!!  I don't know anyone who would be able to do this, is there a service somewhere that I could send those plans to and have it made?  jeff

Yes there are online services for 3D printing you could email them the file you download from the thingiverse site and they will print it.

I am sure the OP would find this helpful but the topic is 4 years old and the OP hasn't been on this forum since.

Door lock mounts on top frame between the two doors.
Pull it DOWN to lock doors
Push it UP to unlock doors

Dometic 2932746017 for door lock
Dometic 2932746015 for lock bracket

Good luck finding as it is 'obsolete' and typically listed as 'NLA' (no longer available)

Is it time for your medication or mine?

When ours broke in our 99 , like you the cost was high. We just went with a AC unit from Lowes or Homedepot. Found one that was close and just in-large the hole and slid it in. Should have done it many years before. Worked out very well. I just look and the model # we got is no more so you just have to look. You might not find parts for a 20 something year old unit. Good luck
