door glass for a ford van

I have a 1990 Ford E150 conversion van. The windows in the side and rear doors are fixed. I've been searching for months to find windows that open to no avail. Can anyone help? Was that even an option? Thanks. Kurt
  • Are your windows Ford factory windows or aftermarket windows? If they are Ford windows you can look for Ford opening windows at the junkyard and swap them out (get all the hardware and gaskets). I did this on my 1997 Dodge van, it was an easy swap.
  • Thanks, I've been to numerous boneyards in IL,IN, Wi. No luck. My last two were Dodge's with glass that opened. I'm starting to believe it wasn't an option.
  • When we bought our 2012 Ford rear opening windows were not an option. We asked and were told they did away with them for fear of exhaust entering when windows were open while driving.
  • pop out windows from a ford van 1975 to 1991 will fit your van. Junk yards around here get 45/50 a window not easy to find in new England because vans are all rusted out and scraped
  • Our PW Excel came with side windows that prop open just enough for ventilation. It's a pain sometimes, as there are no screens and bugs fly right in. Some people make or buy screens. The stock E350 our rig was built on had rear windows that opened but these were fixed in place by PW because of the exhaust hazard. Do you have a Fantastic fan? That helps a whole lot,
