I have done like Mountainair05 mentioned earlier, using a washer or stack of washers, cut a notch out so they will fit over the pin and lift the door and slide them in. I did this to each of the hinges so they shared the weight. I used brass washers hoping they would wear without wearing the steel hinge more and used a dry lube on the hinges.
