Dynamax DX3

I would like to get any information I can on the Dynamax DX3 bunkhouse model I can. If there is anybody out there that has one would love to know what you think of it.
  • Have you gone to the Dynamax site yet? To be honest, I hadn't even heard of it until you posted about it. Looks like it is a 2014 model. They didn't mention anything about it at the Daytona rally. Looking thru the specs, I wouldn't even consider the ISB option, not enough power (torque) or drivetrain for that size of rig nor air brakes. The M2 HD chassis would be the only option I would consider which is basically the same as to what our DQ36XL is built on.
  • The HD chassis is the way I want to go and from the couple of dealers I've talked to that's the kind they are getting in. There are some 2013 models around. I notice that they are selling it cheaper than your model, so I'm wondering what corners they found to cut?
  • Im not sure about the new DX3 bunk house I have a 2007 350 Grandsport with the M-2 heavy duty chassis . My Dynamax is the last year they put the Cat C-7 motor(350hp) in and its been great . My wife has a hard time keeping it under 70 runs it like her Jetta diesel. I don't let her drive it much .
If I was going to order a new one go Heavy duty everything and get the most hp they offer. I think most of the new ones come with a cummins and check with someone local to see if they are having any issues with that motor. I heard Cat got away from motorhomes because they didn't want to put all the government emission******on their motors. Anyway we love our Dynamax and would buy another one .
  • I have been considering one of the DX3 models and it appears most of the dealers are stocking the Cummins 8.3ltr engine models, instead of the 6.7ltr engine. Several of the dealers have some nice photos of the rigs, better than the Dynamax site IMHO. Here is a New Jersey dealer, Dillons. See that Motor Home Specialist RV in Texas has them advertised at 25% off the MSRP. Works out to be just over $204,000 for a somewhat loaded model.

  • Wow what a subject, been looking for some ideas, ran across this site, and wow,we now have a Montclair by Monaco. 16k on the. Clock. Three slides, plenty of head room still, and a 29ft, and like the dx3 too, and the factory calls it a b+, nice unit, and drives really ice too.and full body paint. The size is just rite for Wally-world too. So now it's all. Happy-camping
