Emergency Help need

Our M/H is a 2000 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision 36B. As we were traveling, the electricity would go off. We stopped at a repair center in Conway, AR. and they need to replace the Power Tek model PDC 1009 automatic transfer switch and energy management system which is no longer in production and they don't know how to procure one. Help! Anyone have any idea where we can order this?
  • Simply bypass the transfer switch for now. You'll either be able to power your coach with the generator or shore power but not either/or. I did that when we had a lightning strike that knocked out my transfer switch. We finished our trip looking for campgrounds with full hookups, until I could get a replacement.

If you do not know how to bypass it, let us know and we'll diagram it for you......Dennis
  • The battery separator can easily be bypassed, and you can either leave the house batteries seperate and run the house off the genset, or you can parallel everything together, and just be careful not to run the batts too low.
  • I think maybe you are being taken to the cleaners. What could possibly go wrong with a complete PDC (Power Distribution Center), Auto transfer switch, and Power Management System that would require replacing the whole thing?

Nothing you mentioned should have any effect on the coaches ability to run.

I would simply drive on until I found an RV repair place I trusted to diagnose the problem correctly. JMHO
