Finally saw the inside of a new Travato

We own a Pleasureway van. Wife and I viewed 2 new Travatos. Our only thought was that they would be totally in adequate for 2 people. Very cut up floor plan with water tank next to the door and the bed would be way to small. We like our PW but are looking for something a
little different. I guess we will wait for the new Ford Transit. I know different strokes for different people. Price was attractive but just not for us.
  • JMHO, the Travato 59G was Winnebago's attempt to test the waters and see if the US market would accept a "B" that wasn't on a Sprinter chassis.

As above, I'd wait for the 59K which has two separate beds, or take a look at the other makes.

Since you are in Canada, take a look at Safari Condo's offerings. They had a prototype out before the Travato, and are very well made, with a drop-down bed.
  • Francheska, The Pleasure-way Promaster Lexor will have a familiar floor plan to your Plateau TS. It is going to be10 inches shorter but about 4-5 inches wider and lower in overall height. The quality of the the Winnebagos won't come close to your Pleasure-way. If you are looking for a more active Promaster design layout for two people with similar quality then the Roadtrek Zion would be worth a look.
  • Really? Too lazy too research a little?

There are threads discussing the new Pleasureway Lexor and the Roadtrek Zion on this and other forums. Both of these may be more to your liking.
