Financing older Motorhome

I am looking to buy an older diesel pusher in Great shape. However it is a 2003 model. This unit holds its value well. Does anyone know of finance companies that will carry a note for these older models? Putting 20-30% down to secure the note.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the info. I have contacted SE Financial and await a call from them on financing. Hope to be back on the road again soon.

Southeast Financial is a broker, they aren't the actual lender. I thought my experience with them was very pleasant. They charge a 1% interest rate premium for coaches older than 2008 and even with that the interest rate they got me was marginally lower than my CU. If I had been looking at a newer rig I definitely would have gone with them. The application process was akin to buying a house with them--1040s for two years and recent pay stubs.
  • Google RV loans or financing. You will find several firms that can help you out. Should not be a problem.
  • Our credit union will finance up to NADAGuides retail price.

  • If you are eligible for USAA membership they will finance older rigs as well.

  • My CU financed a 2000 with 20% down. Southeast financial will also finance older coaches with 15% down.
