We purchased a 94 Winnebago four years ago, a private sale. We had very few problems with the coach but it didn't have a slide and we needed the extra room for my granddaughters. I decided this year to buy a new 2006 Winnebago class A with two slides. I always wanted a new mho because of all the warranties and because of the fact I wasn't getting someone else's problems. What a big mistake, I had to return the coach to the dealer the next business day after we took deliver because of bad leaks. The amount of hidden damage because of water infiltration was unbelievable. It has been 43 days and the coach is still at the dealers. Winnebago is deciding what to do.
If you think buying new you will have a good chance of having no problems think again. The warranties is only as good as the company that makes the product.
