We have been long time trailer, both 5th wheel and bumper pull RVer's, but I have decided at 67, it is time to give the world of motorhomes a chance. I have the time to go used and one of my main concerns is the roof. Most motorhomes as trailers have rubber roofs. These roofs require maintenance that are affected by how and where the RV is stored. I have read there are a few Rv's that have roofs other than rubber. Are these only confided to high end units? I have not made the diesel/gas decision yet and am keeping my options open. Ideally I can find a 3-8 year old low mileage unit that has been used for recreational use, not full time, that has been stored inside when not in use. Am I asking for two much?
