After talking to several on the road I'm starting to think when it comes to DP's it's all about the frame. I'm guessing that the Monaco had a freightliner under it. Seems like all the other DP's guys love to trash talk it.
I didn't really need to test them in a hard stop, but they seemed fine. However, they didn't seem to be as "linear" in terms of stopping power vs brake pedal force------probably needed a little more seat time to get used to them The brakes on my gasser have always been more than adequate, too.
