Fixing captain's seat "rocking issues"

Both front seats on my Fleetwood Tioga no longer lock into position. They are both rocking chairs at this point and then switch on arm doesn't seem to hold chair in place even if I keep it held in lock position.

The cable moves and it looks to be installed right. At this point I just want them locked in position. Does anyone have experience with this type of problem?

I'll try and upload a picture as soon as I figure out how to with my iPad

    my flexsteel seats have a large nut underneath 7/8 or 1 inch tightened them helped.not sure about your rig ken

    Thanks! I pulled off the hardware and cable that actuates the lock back feature and then reattached after not seeing any issues and voila they are both fixed. Wondering if the cable is just fussy and needs to be perfectly set. Fingers crossed it stays in tact for out first major trip..Niagara to Orlando.
