Floor Cover

We have a 2015 Tuscany 450 hp with porcelain tile floors. The bedroom and master bathroom are in the rear with the engine. This area becomes quite warm during summer months. In particular the floor tiles become hot. Does anyone know of a cover that can be laid in the floor to help keep heat out?
  • I use throw rugs where I want them. If you're wanting wall to wall carpet, that can be done too either by yourself if you're capable or call a carpeting company.
  • Thanks for input, but I want something that can be laid down and removed easily. I may try moving blankets.
  • Why don't you work on it from another angle and look at insulating your engine compartment better. Some engine compartment roofs are built flat and don't allow the heat to escape easily. Monaco had an issue with this for a few years in their Camelot line. The fix was to add a 12 volt radiator fan, like found on small cars, to the engine area and exhaust the heat during hot weather.
