Floor Mats for Class A

RV Newbie - Just purchased a 2014 Thor Hurricane 32N with Ford V10 engine. We need to purchase floor mats as the drive/passenger area is carpeted. Also are looking for seat covers and auto parts store had nothing. Any suggestions on finding these is greatly appreciated!!

Go to WalMart and purchase a couple small throw rugs - one for both seats. You can then easily pull them out and shake out or wash. Or go to a carpet store and get some remnants and cut to size you want. When they get dirty, toss and get some more.

X2 Very inexpensive. Should they get ratty looking you buy new ones. We have put them into the washing machine using cold water and hung to dry. Works great.

Wade RV Accessories is the business that was based at LazyDays in Tampa.

We've had Wade make two separate custom front bras for our last two motorhomes. They do very good work. I highly recommend them.
  • I used matching carpet remnants, cut them to fit the driver's seat, passenger seat and steps, then had non slip rubber applied and the edges sewn. They did four pieces for $125.00. They look like they belong in the coach.

Just a thought, unless you have animals that will tear up your seats.....why cover them. You cover them up, protect for ten years so that the guy that buys it used gets new seats. Enjoy the seats and when in storage cover them with old bed sheets. Typically, you won't put enough butt time in these seats to ruin them.

  • I also used the clear plastic with the little spikes and cut it to fit. As far as seat covers, I went to a shop that does automobile seat covers and they were able to have them custom made for my coach.
  • I used that clear plastic carpet runner with the little spikes on the bottom of it. You can buy it at Menards, Lowes etc. whatever length you need. I put two screws in it under the front seats so it wouldn't slide around works great. I even used it under the booth dinette table to help protect the carpet under there.
