Anyone have good referral(s) for flooring replacement in Class A? Information appreciated.

Most flooring installers can do a great job. I'd suggest vinyl planking over anything else.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Thanks to all who replied. We found a local flooring company with an experienced installer. He did a fantastic job. Engineered wood flooring looks great and easy to clean.

Just got finished with a small reno that included replacing the carpet. We did all the up-front labor to remove all the seats, benches, chairs, bed, etc., that was required to remove all the carpet....we did that part too. I swear, RV manufacturers get paid by the number of screws and staples they use.

We ordered carpet tiles from Flor Flor Carpet Tiles. Not cheap, but a good, durable product. It's a floating floor covering, so if we have a spill or a leak and need to remove a square, it can be done easily. We had a flooring company to install the carpet tiles as to make sure all the cuts and angles were done properly, and then we replaced all the furniture.

It's an involved job, but it can be done and it makes a fresh look for an "experienced" RV.

Tiles! Interesting!
Did they use a carpet pad?
Did they seam the tiles together?
Are they glued down?

If your installer doesn't have a clue about slides- find one who does

No on referrals but it's a great idea to have someone else do it! Might find a flooring company willing but they'll regret it when they discover how much work it's going to be.
