I've owned 3 vehicles with the 6.8L Ford V10, one of them a 2014 F53 chassis, and IIRC all of my owner's manuals recommended Motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic blend.

Your Bay Star has a Ford Triton 6.8L V-10 engine. Determining the current oil type would require a lab analysis, so your best bet is to just have the oil of choice installed at the next change. There's no harm in switching to a full synthetic from a non-synthetic or vice-versa.

If it's the V10 Triton engine, it's 6.8L. The horsepower varies with application, tuning, model year, etc. Any kind of oil can be used as long as it meets the manufacturer's specifications for that engine.
