Yes they have. 1/2 the area under the bed is taken up with circuitry. The panel itself is on the front of the bed barely above the floor.

So much for logic... The bed "pedestal" is an easy place to overlook trying to find a panel. Apparently all that space was irresistible to the designers.

I haven't thought it was a good idea to run wiring, water and LPG lines in a slide. If I ever want another RV, I guess I'd better rethink that.

Copying this from your thread in Tech Issues...

I found the 2014 Melbourne Owner Manual HERE and it seems there's a "Command Center" near the Kitchen Area. Starting to think the "Load Center" (my term, but many coaches have their Charger/Converter, 12V Fuse Panel, and 120V Breaker Panel in an all-in-one unit) might be near the Command Center with Generator Start, Water Heater Switch, Tank Monitors, etc. Or, they may have hidden it in a cabinet. Since it seems all the Melbourne models have the Queen Bed on a Slide, I've become doubtful they'd put all that circuitry there.

OH... Manual says there's a cover over the fuses, so if he's found the Load Center, there's probably a dark plastic cover over the fuses. Ours has that, and the Load Center's on the side of the Queen Bed, but we don't have slides...

Tried to find a photo on-line of the end of the bed Converter/Charger panel. This is as close as I could find... I can just see a panel edge in the end of the bed near the floor...

If you could post the part number of the converter/charger you can find a better photo of the panel...

  • Open the panel door of the converter...it will look something like this...somewhere inside your rig. Ours is under the frig, but it could be anywhere...
