Well! Owning a coach is expensive. At four dollars a gallon now days, to fill up an empty tank would be $400.00 every time you fill her up. The part that most individuals do not understand is that most RVers will drive to destination lets say four hundred miles and then they park at a RV park for lets say three weeks. In the mean time you drive around to check the sights on your toad which probably does 35 mpg. You probably are a member of the RV park, so it does not cost you anything to stay there the three weeks. Most RVers do not drive that big coach every day that only gets 9 mpg. And that is what ordinary folks do not understand what all goes into RVing. It really is not that expensive if you stop and think about it. If you are a full timer, and belong to an RV membership, you do not have to worry about the water bill, electric bill, trash/sewer, gas and paying the gardener to maintain your lawn and trimming the hedge.
So RVing is really not as expensive as it looks.
