Generator not working with inverter/charger
I hoping someone has had this issue before and can give me some advice. We have a 38' Fleetwood Expedition Diesel Pusher.
We are using a 8000 watt Onan Generator with a Magnum MS2012 Inverter/charger.
The Generator starts up just fine with no issues. Yesterday I was able to use the generator just fine and it charged the batteries through the inverter/charger.
Now, when I turn on the generator it shows 0 on the Intellitec amp load meter which seems strange since there are lights and other items on in my MH. On the remote for the inverter/charger, there is a button to turn on the charger, but pressing it doesn't do anything. I can use appliances with it just inverting, but only for so long without the batteries draining. I'll call Magnum on Monday if I can't fix it by then to see if there is something causing this in the inverter, but I am hoping I can figure it out before than.
Thanks in advance if someone knows what might be causing this.
John
