I would trade my very problematic, leaking roof and side-seams Born Free diesel Class C luxury unit that cost $100,000.00 straight-up in a New York minute with these folks!
I seriously want this. Why do our class C's have to be so fancy. Yes I know this one would cost more. The couple shipped the over from Germany and have traveled trans-Canada, Alaska and now down the Pacific Coast.

I bet that furnace/heater is diesel powered along with the stove etc. Probably no LP in the rig at all.
Is it because using the diesel is a more efficient fuel; a better way??
Diesel fuel is probably easier to come across out is the middle of nowhere than propane is.
All of the above and diesel is safer than gasoline or LP. - ggeezaExplorer

Nice! It is probably not as "simple" as you think. High-end windows, etc.
Re the 4x4 issue (my Tiger is 4x4), I use high clearance much more often than 4x4. Of course, when you really need 4x4, there is no substitute. It is very possible to have a great backwoods trip without ever using 4x4.
Yep, and the windows in the coach are up high, so they're less accessible from the ground... good idea for 3rd world & expedition travel. Looks like there's even a sliding door to close off the access between cab & coach at night. $260,000+ will buy you a _lot_ of nice engineering ;). Bet they've got a quiet furnace that's not a battery killer, too.
I find my most frequent use for the 4x4 on my Tiger is on a steep dirt road leading to a mountaintop observatory that I overnight at 4 or 5 times a year. Going up, it's not quite needed. But coming down, there are a few sections where low range keeps me from riding the brakes. And it's awfully nice 'insurance' elsewhere.

Is it 4X4?
I stand corrected, the website says it is 4x4 - DakzukiExplorer

Was the steering wheel on the other side?
Those look like German license plates so I doubt it.
I am surprised it's not 4WD. It sits higher than a typical Sprinter. Their 4WD hardware is tucked up pretty tight so it could be a challenge to spot. It's not like you're typical American truck.
