Good place to stash a safe on a "B"?

Since this has gone off topic, and I have had to delete a couple of posts, I'm closing it.
I think the op got his answer.

Thieves are stealing because they do not want to work for money. The idea they would hide in the van waiting to to start a gunfight is silly. Since they do not know the background of the person they would be confronting, it could be a pistol packing grandma or a Navy Seal on vacation.
Thieves are not looking for anything but items to sell for quick cash. Period. They like smash and grab, quick in and out without having to deal with people in the process. They do not like spending a long time inside searching. If they can't see it, or can't find it fast, they leave.
I am a very careful person. I observe all around when I park, noting anybody hanging around that looks out of place or seems too interested in what I'm doing. I never leave anything that remotely looks like it could contain valuables in plain sight. Not even boxes or store sacks. No dangling electric cords, that would make them think something could be inside. I stash all that stuff so if someone looks in the windows, the van looks empty of sellable items.

Please, let's not turn this into a gun thread, that so often happens with just the mention of said weapon.

I've thought about that as well, but some thieves would just wait in the van, guns drawn, for the owner to get back, in order to score another firearm with serial numbers traced back to someone else.

I hide things in anyplace that is out of sight. I also leave an empty holster in plain sight, makes them wonder what will happen if I come back and find them inside.

Contact a Van fabricator for suggestions. I am sure they have installed safes in various locations.

A false floor or a false ceiling with a hidden latch would be good, even a false back on a cupboard. The trick is, to hinge the hiding spot with a latch that is easy to feel, but one has to get down on their knees and peer in to see.

But, to make it easy on you, you can't have too many things to remove to get in there. Perhaps a pull out drawer that has a hidden compartment underneath, it's easy to pull out but to get the latch that releases it to pull out can be a bit tricky.

I feel that the best safe is no safe at all since nearly any safe will made the location easier to locate because of the needed size of a safe to hold a laptop. Instead find a very obscure location that is part of structure of the "B" making finding the location far more difficult. I know locations in my RV that no one would discover without taking the rig apart.

Maybe you'll get more answers relating what you are looking for if you change the post title to relate to brands rather than "places to stash a safe"?

I looked at those, and they are fairly big, especially for a "B". Instead, what I might do is see about using the safe I linked to in the original post. That way, there isn't going to be damage inside, but outside when a would-be thief tries to saw off the strongbox attached to the tow hitch, which is generally easier to deal with.

So far, I've found one brand of storage that is up to snuff, made by Fort Knox Safes, but their strongboxes are sized towards firearms.
