GPS Unit ??

Someone once mentioned to my wife that they had a GPS system(I think it was a Garmin, but not sure) and they loaded it with an app from Rand McNally? that showed them all campgrounds/RV resorts within a specific area.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Trying to remember exactly what they were talking about.

There are online converters to take one proprietary POI list to another format.
