Has this roof got any life left
The roof on my RV is 16 yrs. old with black showing on roof (I cannot tell if there is any membrane). Was hoping I could apply a coating of some sort to extend the life.

My experience has been. The black part can be very slick and if it rubs off so will the coating. Stiff brush it till black residue stops coming off and it might stick better (dicor liq coating and etching agent)
