They are pretty much off road lighting. The only time I've ever seen them on is if they are aimed low or I did see a guy in a Jeep use his for road rage on some poor old lady that wasn't getting out of his way.
Not sure what your point is but mine is this. This lite works very well for any Class A owner that needs decent lites to see while driving at night. Unit mounts about 30 inches from ground level on front of Mh. it actually looks fine.I was worried about aesthetics at first but once installed looks fine (my opinion)
