Heat Shield Fell Off
Hi there,
On my Fleetwood Storm (Ford F53 Chassis) I was driving down the freeway yesterday and heard an awful noise. I pulled over and looked under the coach and there is a metal heat shield about 5 feet long, 12" wide that was tack welded onto the frame in a few spots. Well this was dragging on the ground but still was welded in about 5 spots. I was able to use bailing wire and re-attach it to the frame so I could make it home....
Well... 300 miles later I made it home.. crawled under to see about a permanent fix and guess what? Its gone. The entire thing broke loose at somepoint and is gone.
The shield for the propane tank is still there. This is the 5' extension that goes down the frame
Any idea on where I can get another piece like this? I am sure i was there for a reason.
