The latch on the door broke. luckily I was inside and able to take the inside base plate off and pull the latch with a pair of pliers.
Looking on line I can't seem to find one to match.
It's a trimark and the only number I can find on it is RD/ENR1993/7236
the 6 could be a 0 or an 8, can't see it very good.

I found one at a local RV shop. $126 for the whole assembly. Trimark wanted $185.

It was the stryker bar, and a good machinist could probably make a new one much better. At home I know one that could do it. Both times ours broke, wewere far from home, and nowhere close could even attempt such a job. And we had to damage the lock itself to get the latch open. The new designed lock is much better.

What part of the latch broke?

If it was the striker bolt take the pieces to a metal smith and ask him to carve you one out of something stronger than the ***P that Tri-mark uses.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

The 0650 lockset has been replaced with an improved 1650 model which is ALMOST an exact fit dropin replacement. I just finished replacing mine yesterday, many RV parts stores carry them, and they are also offered on Amazon, but are heavy to ship. NOTE THAT THE STRIKER PLATE MUST BE REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME!!! There is about 1/64 inch difference in the latch bolts, Which are not replaceable. Just replace the striker plate first, and all will be well!

Most likely you have the Trimark 060-0650 lock assembly that's notorious for breaking the latch bolt. The newer version is the 060-1650 that has a redesigned mechanism and a sturdier bolt. It's a direct replacement.

Yep, mine broke and Trimark was very helpful. If you can send them a photo it would help, and they will likely send you a spec diagram. Based on that I ordered, got what I needed, did a better job than Monaco at adjusting it and it has been better then new ever since.

As a fulltimer on the road, probably one of the only things I have ever paid overnight delivery on!
