Too many inconsistencies.....The minute it's discovered that the VIN has been altered or removed, it's towable. Second, a hidden VIN is exactly that. Even if it's found, you typically have to remove a major body part to access it with a grinder. Third, the engine computer has the VIN listed electronically. Lastly, the engine has an identifiable number. I know nothing about the OP, but none of this makes sense.
