Don't feel bad, you're not the only one. Just this week, we decided to head up to the lake with the class A and jet skiis. Left the house, and needed to make a left turn to hit the only gas station for 20 miles. Well, I passed the road and needed to make a u-turn. I found a spot that looked wide enough to turn this whole mess around. So I waited until it was clear, and began making my wide u-turn with what looked like plenty of room. About halfway through the turn, as i'm looking out my window/mirror to the left to be sure it's clear, I hear something crashing in the rear, and the RV comes to a complete stop. Well, there was a guard rail low enough that I couldn't see it, and it got hooked on my right rear bumper of the RV, tearing about 3/4 of the fiberglass bumper and rear end right off. Also ripped the lower half of my ladder off and destroyed the front of my jet ski trailer. Lesson learned.
