We also downsized to a smaller class C and ditched the toad. Couldn't be happier with our decision. We're basically the size of a UPS truck, so can go almost anywhere. So much easier when the ability to back up is added back into driving. With Uber and Lyft, things have never been easier. And every time I've needed an Enterprise rental for a full-day excursion they have delivered to the RV park. Everything has been easier, and, in the long run, considerably less expensive.
Note: we are not full time, which would make a big difference in the decision.
