I have a 24' with a toad, 4-down.
For the $2,700 altering of my car with a Blue-Ox and brake buddy II , I like having my own vehicle .
Extra storage is awesome , its my wheel barrow for firewood, my shopping cart and my water toting wagon to refill my holding tank when boondocking.
I do not like other people driving me around (uber/cabs) , I always rented from Enterprise in the past, they delivered the car to the campsite. The car renting vs the conversion expense for 4-down will be a wash the more you use rentals. My $2,700 investment will pay for itself at the end of my 3rd season.
