Depending on the destination we rent a car or take our Vespa. Much easier on the pocket than owning a specific car just for trips. We rent a car when in the larger cities because the bad driving habits of city traffic can be dangerous on a Vespa. When we're out in the rural areas we like to take the Vespa as our gaddabout.
