Finally got around to replacing my broken roof vent. I started early as it was supposed to be mid 90's, but it went smoother than I thought it might and I was done by 10 AM before it baked me... I found that my roof at the vent opening was about 3 1/2" thick and the new roof vent appears to be made for about 2 1/2- 2 3/4 inch thick roof as the top and bottom pieces don't quite cover the distance, let alone overlap as designed... I think I can use some of the old inside liner to cover the gap so it doesn't look too weird...
