hwy 550 in New Mexico
I plan to travel hwy 550 from Santa Fe New Mexico to Mesa Verde National park in late april in a 38" M/H . I would like to know If this is a good idea? What about road traveled by M/H and trucks alot,...

not a good idea ... you have to go out of your way, from Santa Fe, to get to 550. US 84 from Santa Fe to Pagosa Springs and 160 west is the only way to go.
