Hydraulic jacks on Diplomat

Jacks stopped going down. When toggle switch is pushed I do hear a click in the rear, but jacks motor does not start. Relay or jack motor problem? Also at the same time dimmer switch for head light started acting weird. Turn it to brighten dash light and gauges change - same show higher some show lower example volts go from 13 to 11. Have a short somewhere I'm thinking.

Check chassis battery connection...the jacks run on the chassis battery....and obviously the dimmer/gauges do as well...Not only check the grounds but also the positive connections as well.

Sounds like a bad ground connection. Time to get out the meter and start checking. Which came first, the chicken or the egg..?:h...Start with the dimmer switch as it's probable the easiest to get to, then move to the jack relay....Dennis
