Hydraulic slides and jacks not extending

Hi all,

I'm new here, so please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section.

I have a HWH 610 hydraulic leveling system in my 2003 WRV Alpine Coach that has been giving me trouble. When I start the leveling process the pump will run and the jacks will come down to the ground, but there is no load on the pump and the jacks do not level the RV. All 3 slides also operate off the same system, 2 are very slow to open and the 3rd doesn't move at all. I read the owners manual for the leveling system but didn't see any applicable troubleshooting instructions. Does anyone have an idea on why the leveling system isn't working?

I replaced all of the chassis and house batteries last weekend, unfortunately the hydraulic system still isn't working. I went ahead and tried to extend the jacks with the engine running, the jacks still didn't build any pressure and the air bags did re-inflate despite the parking brake being set and the HWH system being powered on. It looks like I'll be taking it into the shop early next week.

if the park brake is set, and the hwh system is on, the air bags are locked out of the chassis system. they will not re inflate, unless the system is turned off, and the park brake is released.

The coach manual says that the engine should be off. There is no way to keep the air suspension from re-inflating after the HWH system dumps the air. Our chassis batteries don't seem to be holding a charge anymore. I'll replace them and see if there's an improvement.

You need to have the Pump pressure checked. The Pump pressure should be 2800 to 3200 psi. Anything less will cause slow operation. Doug

I had this problem 2 weeks ago, the fluid ended up being very low. I refilled it and after a few tries something at the rear of the RV popped and it started working again. This time when I checked the fluid level the reservoir was full.

The only things that I think of that would cause these problems is if it was low on fluid or the pump is weak and not building pressure like it should. I don't have anything to base this on except for comparing the system to a water system.
