Look, you aren't selling your memories or experiences, just that thing that is a nagging money hog. RV's are money/maintenance pits for sure. If it makes you feel really bad plan a trip without an RV and see how much you like hotels or day trips without sleeping (3-4 hour drives to and fro). You may find you like to go to small towns and events just locally. :)
