I need help.I own a 2015 fleetwood discovery (40G). I need to know the exact location of the inverter on/off switch. My inverter will not work and the LED light INV in the control panel above the entry stairs is not lit. I can't find the inverter or switch anywhere. Thanks for your help!!!

I have a different set up than yours, but when I was trying to find my switch, I looked at the inverter 5 times and didn't see the switch, on the the 6th time I used a flash light and wouldn't you know it, it was right there.

I found the inverter in one of the basement compartments. There is a push button on it that said on/off, I pushed it and looked in the control panel and the LED INV was lit up green, Problem fixed. Thanks for all your help!!

Remember the breaker on the inverter is easy to miss. It's simply a small button type. Look closely at the inverter and find it...Dennis

The only advice I could give not knowing your coach is that inverters are supposed to be mounted as physically close to the house batteries as possible. They aren't always close, but they should be. Maybe on the other side, but close to minimize the length of cable runs. Find the big positive (red ends) cable on your house batteries. Follow it, if you can. It should go to the inverter. Good luck and I would be very surprised if a 2015 Discovery did not have an inverter. That is a nice coach!

Your converter or inverter? Many coaches do not have an inverter but have converters. Converters take 120VAC to 12Vdc (basically) and inverters take 12v dc bring it to 120Vac
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

In the cabinet where all the other controllers are at by the front door. It's the controller that shows the battery voltage and charging setting. Just push the square button that says inv/ something like that and hold it until the green light comes on.

Look in your owners manual and you'll find it. Or push the reset button on the inverter in the bay itself if that doesn't work.

Does your Fleetwood have a "Magnum Energy" control panel? On my Winnebago (2015) that turns the inverter on and off but it's not very intuitive looking at it.You have to scroll through a few screens to get to the on/off control on mine.

Look on the inverter itself. There is usually a switch on the unit along with the remote.

It would help if you said what brand inverter you have.

Wow. That's going to be a tough one because so few people own that particular model will be online. You might give the dealership a call and ask the tech that gave you your walk through.

Also, that new of a rig would have had the operators manuals supplied. I know it's not fun, but you might find something about location in the manuals.

Good luck!
