Inverter-where oh where is it???

does your EMS board have a "magnum" section? If so, look at the bottom left hand switch for on/off inverter. if it has one and you push the button and it lights up, you have an inverter. now go around and see which plugs are inverted.

are you sure the breaker says 'inverter' and Not 'Converter'

I'm willing to bet that some of the responses here are referring to a converter and not an inverter. Although I am sure its possible under the stove and under the fridge are common places where converters are found, not inverters which are are usually fairly close to the batterys.

Mr. Wizard, disconnecting from shore power, the TV does not work. I didn't check outlets. The batteries do charge with shore power and the generator.

Hi this might not apply to you since I'm a Winnebago Owner? And this might help a Winnebago Owner to locate there inverter. My inverter is located under the stove in the kitchen. Under the stove is a drawer pull out the drawer and your looking at the inverter. I was told that a inverter is located close to your house batteries.

This indicates a combo unit charger/inverter
Your batteries do charge from shore power or generator, correct?

Unplug from shore power, will the tv work, do any kitchen outlets have power
