my used Vista an 02 did not come with a bunk ladder nor the ladder stop. I got an aluminum ladder on Amazon, but am having hard time figuring out how to mount the brackets for the top of the ladder. ...

Can you just remove the brackets and anchor the bottom instead? Or try industrial velcro on the ladder and the bunk edge.
