When we store we open up all valves to everything, shower, tub, all faucets, sinks, etc. I crank on the water pump and remove all water until the pump is dry. Then I remove both hoses to the pump.
I use may air tank and "blow out" both ends of the hoses (that connect to the water pump) for a while to remove all water in the lines.
I know the pink stuff is not supposed to be toxic, but we are "those people" who are very paranoid about residual chems in our water lines. Never had a problem doing it this way. It's pretty fast too and cheap. You'll hear air rushing out of your water fixtures.
ALSO don't forget, drain valve open on the water heater.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on
Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.
