- Sidesaddle1ExplorerThey were doing that as of last January when we were there.
- BobandShazExplorerSounds fun. Might try that!
- eheadingExplorerYes, they still do that, and they don't have a salesperson hassling you while you are "perusing".

The park is very nice and joins the sales lots. Shortly after checking in, a sales rep would drop by and offer services. They don't pressure and leave when you say you're just camping. The lots are huge with a zillion used rigs. All were open and you were free to wander through them. Sales folks would ride by in a golf cart but not bug you. If you have a question, they can be flagged down. I think you had to go through the sales area to see new ones but they don't hassle you and you're free to explore inside all of them. This is the way it was several years ago and thus the reason I asked.
I'm not in the market but then I wasn't in it when I bought the past 2 motor homes. I've never had a sales rep that knew more about the rigs than I. That said, I understand why most dealers don't let folks in on their own. - rvtenExplorerThey also have there own TV show on Sunday now.
- Peddler95ExplorerI was in Lakeland a couple of months ago and decided to drive over to Lazy Days to look around.
When I bought my coach there in 2011, all the units were open, both new and used, and the sales people rode around as described above seeing if you needed help.
This trip was quite different, most units were locked and I didn't see a sales person anywhere. They had a few units set up out front in a "mini show" setting with a few sales people roaming around but I got the feeling they were assigned to be there and were not real thrilled about it.
Not a big deal but they have also changed the "free lunch" deal for people with customer cards. After going thru the line, I was told, "we don't do that anymore." - BelgiqueExplorerPeddler: Dang. I was afraid of that. I can't blame them because vandalism would not be a surprise. But, it helped see what was available and some rigs were probably sold because of being able to shop without a minder. Both of my MH's were bought when I went into the store for a small item and ended up kicking tires. I could pretend I'm in the market but that's not fair to the sales person who is just trying to make a living.
- eheadingExplorerPeddler95, I wonder if there was some special reason why the coaches weren't open inside Lazy Days' fences in the viewing area. I do know that in February of this year, they were all open, and it was just like it always has been. We didn't see a lot of sales people riding around, but there were some, and they didn't bother us if we didn't flag them down. Interesting in what you found that probably ocurred a couple of months after our experience.
Ed Headington - BelgiqueExplorerI decided to go to the horse's mouth and ask them. I'll post any response.
- Fla_Tom1ExplorerI was there 2 weeks ago all coaches were open and you are free to roam, crown club has free breakfast lunch and dinner monday through sat.
