Good morning everyone. I'm Mike and my wife is Theresa. This being our first post I wanted to tell you a little about us. We've been together over 25 years and married 19 this year. We purchased our 1st RV in 1999 and are on our 7th right now. It's a 2015 Thor ACE and we really love it. We've been Good Sam members since 2003 and have had Good Sam Roadside assistance for many years. I have followed these forums for years and have gained much valuable information. I've always been able to search for a solution to any problem that came up. I've never posted as most subjects are well answered and didn't require my input. We have finally decided it's time to start posting because of our treatment by Camping World of Madison, WI. We will be posting more on this later but wanted people to know who we are and that we're not new to the RV world. I've seen too many people get jumped on here just because their first posts were complaints. In our case it's taken over a year and a half to make us frustrated enough to finally speak out. Let me say that Thor has really stood up to the plate in finally having our issues resolved. We'd like to thank them.

Welcome to the insanity, horror stories keep us going from a "better you then me" standpoint. But in the end we are all bound by the freedom of RVS. In my 8 years of looking, posting and enjoying this site, the information here is the best, as is the passion for us fellow nut jobs.

We've seen the horror stories and have one of our own to tell. It's just too long for a single post. So we will break it up and tell it in the Dear Marcus section of the Forum. Sure wish we had looked at that section of the forum more before we purchased from Camping World. Our treatment by them has been unbelievable bad and we feel that other people should know what to expect if you buy from them. Look for our upcoming posts in the Camping World RV Sales and Camping World Service and Installation sections of the forum.

Just growth. The first 2 were pop-ups and then we had 19', 32' and 38' fifth wheels and a Dodge diesel dually to pull them. From there we went to a 31' class c and now we have the ACE. We've purchased all of them new and had some warranty issues with all of them. The first 5 were purchased from a local dealer and any warranty issues were always dealt with in a very timely manner and fixed right the first time. We never had any issues getting work done. Unfortunately our dealer only handles towables so we purchased a motorhome from Camping World RV Sales of Madison, WI. This is when our nightmare with service began. The story is too long for a single post here. The only way we finally got things taken care of was to get Thor involved and they allowed us to take the unit from Camping World back to our local dealer to have the repairs taken care of. We can't say enough about how well we've been treated by Thor since getting them involved.

Thanks for the response. We have grown also over the years, still in a towable. Welcome eager to see more from you!

Good idea to join and not make your first post a complaint. To many do and never heard from again. Please keep posting your, hints, comments, solutions and complaints. Remember to also review companies you use for services on RVSERVICEREVIEWS.COM

Yep know what you mean, GOD FORBID you ask a question like what is a real well made RV and a not so well made one. and like everything else you have low end and high end and some hidden treasures. My advice is don't be afraid to post anything or ask questions. 99% on here are very friendly and very nice and helpful. For forums this one is one of the best as far as treatment. Nice to have you here. I have had two Superiors I had one Holiday Rambler now a Dodge AVCO and a few buses. the more the merrier. I say
