Thanks for the replies I'll check all of these tomorrow right now lights are off batteries are all the way up scared to turn a light on a for to long

whats there to be scared of? If your battrys are fully charged as u claim then your converter is working and your lights and fridge should also

Just tongue and cheek not really scared fridge is on and batteries charged seems when lights are on the batteries drain

most likely the batterys are NFG in that case or your converter is weak. But from my experience either the stand alone converter works or it does not

  • I had the same problem with mine this week, discovered that it had a pop up circuit breaker on the top of the inverter box that had popped up reset and all ok, might be worth a look

Or Batteries may have boiled out their fluids and now one has a shorted cell putting a big load on the converter...

While you are checking your battery cables look around for signs of boiled out fluids and also check inside the battery caps to make sure the fluids are OK. All cells must be covered by fluids or they will short out on you...

  • If anyone has been into your batteries lately, I'd say they're now hooked up wrong or they left one of the cables off by accident.

more than likely your converter is shot or at best the breaker that runs that 120V supply is tripped
even if bad battrys the converter should run things through the batterys
Take battry charger and hook up to batterys if the converter is shot
possible bad connection although I doubt it
  • bad battery or ground.

Check battery with meter and not plug into shore power or gen set.
